Vintage ~ 2005 ~ Rare
W.R. Case and Sons Cutlery Company has released an outstanding pocket knife design; “gentleman’s companion” that Case calls the SlimLock. These exceptionally-crafted liner locking designs make up the John Russell Case Summit Collection, each featuring top-quality handle materials and a palate of high-end features including a unique drop-point blade design. The blade, made from BG-42 steel, is the first of its kind to be used in any Case production. The Drop-Point blade is flat-taper ground and made from domestic BG-42 steel; a bearing-grade composition with added carbon and vanadium to give improved strength and increased edge retention. Case has integrated a precision-locking pivot screw to an enhanced bolster design that adds stability and life to the SlimLock. A thumb stud provides convenient one-handed opening.
